Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the proofit app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
proofit is a sourdough baking companion app that helps you track your starter, plan baking timelines, import recipes, and use baking calculators. The app is available for iOS and Android.
Account & Data
proofit does not require an account. All your baking data (starters, recipes, bakes, settings) is stored locally on your device. Optional AI features send recipe content to our servers for processing but do not store your data permanently.
Subscription Terms
proofit offers a Premium subscription (proofit Premium AI) as an auto-renewable subscription through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Pricing
The current subscription price is displayed in the app and on the App Store or Google Play in your local currency. A 1-week free trial is available for new subscribers.
Renewal
Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play > Subscriptions on Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Free Trial
New subscribers may be eligible for a 1-week free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged the subscription price.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. proofit does not process payments or refunds directly.
Intellectual Property
The proofit app, including its design, code, and content, is owned by proofit. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app.
Disclaimer
proofit is provided as-is. Baking results depend on many factors outside our control. AI-generated suggestions are for guidance only and should not replace your own judgment.
AI Fair Use Policy
proofit includes AI-powered features such as recipe import, baking tips, and a chat assistant. Free users receive a limited number of AI credits per week. Premium subscribers receive a higher weekly allowance. We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time to ensure service quality and fair access for all users. AI features are provided on a best-effort basis and may be temporarily limited or unavailable during periods of high demand.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
