Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the proofit app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
proofit is a sourdough baking companion app that helps you track your starter, plan baking timelines, import recipes, use baking calculators, and optionally back up structured app data with Cloud Sync. The app is available for iOS and Android.
Account & Data
proofit does not require an account for local use. If you create an optional account, you can enable Cloud Sync to store structured app data such as starters, recipes, bakes, inventory, and settings in your private cloud backup. You can sign out at any time. You can delete your cloud account in the app settings; this deletes your cloud account and synced cloud backup but does not delete local data on your device.
Cloud Sync
Cloud Sync is a local-first backup and restore feature. The app continues to work offline. Sync is provided on a best-effort basis and may be delayed or unavailable during outages, network problems, or maintenance. Free accounts may have sync limits for starters, top-level recipes, folders, and photos. proofit Premium removes those Cloud Sync limits and includes recipe and bake photo backup.
Subscription Terms
proofit Premium is one auto-renewable subscription offered through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Its Monthly Plan and Annual Plan have the same benefits; only the billing period differs.
Pricing
In the reference EUR storefront, the Monthly Plan is EUR 4.99 per month and the Annual Plan is EUR 39.99 per year. The app and store show localized equivalents in your local currency outside that storefront. The store payment sheet is the final authority for the price and billing terms you accept.
Renewal
Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play > Subscriptions on Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Free Trial
You may be eligible for a 7-day free trial on the Monthly Plan or Annual Plan. Eligibility is determined by Apple or Google and is confirmed in the store payment sheet. If an eligible trial is shown and you do not cancel before it ends, you will be charged the displayed recurring price.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. proofit does not process payments or refunds directly.
Intellectual Property
The proofit app, including its design, code, and content, is owned by proofit. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app.
Content You Share
When you post in the community or share a recipe, you keep the rights to your content. You assure us that you hold the rights you need for it: for the texts, photos, recipe data, and the source you enter. Do not share recipe texts, explanations, or photos taken one to one from books, blogs, courses, or videos. You grant proofit a non-exclusive right to display your shared content in the app and to make it available to other users, including when they save a shared recipe into their own collection. If we receive a justified report, in particular about a copyright infringement, we may hide or remove the content; the community guidelines describe how that works and how you can appeal.

proofit is provided as-is. Baking results depend on many factors outside our control. AI-generated suggestions are for guidance only and should not replace your own judgment.
AI Fair Use Policy
proofit includes AI-powered features such as recipe import, baking tips, a chat assistant, and AI recipe folder sorting. Free users receive a limited number of AI actions. proofit Premium includes unlimited general AI for normal app use. Recipe-cover generation is separate and limited to 5 images per 30 days. We reserve the right to apply temporary technical limits to ensure service quality and fair access. AI features are provided on a best-effort basis and may be temporarily limited or unavailable during periods of high demand.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
